What MICHAEL’S ISLAND is
You arrive by boat at sunset: white houses on a cliff, pools glowing turquoise, palms, the sea. The sun goes down fast here. By the time it is dark you know the other guests do not sleep, the footprints next to yours are not yours, and Michael, who is always somewhere far off, waving, does not walk.
Your dog came with you. He comes when you call, growls at what you can’t see, and finds the way up. Everything on this island wants him, and some of it will take him. Go and get him back.

The demo is: about 10 to 15 minutes of the island, free in your browser, no account, nothing to install. The full game arrives on Friday, November 13: US$5, once, and then it is yours (with HOLD YOUR BREATH’s full game, if you pre-order).

When is the full game out?
Friday, November 13, the same night as HOLD YOUR BREATH’s full game. Put your email on the wishlist and tick “email me when the full island is out”: you get one email the day it opens. Until then, the free demo is the island’s first part.
What is a FOUNDER?
One of the first 500 people to buy the full game when it opens. Every one of them gets their number engraved on the brass tag on their dog’s collar in the game, their name in the credits if they want it there, and the FOUNDER merch design, which only founders can buy. Guaranteed to all 500: no draw, no luck.
Is it for kids?
No. MICHAEL’S ISLAND is for adults (18+): it has blood, bodies and disturbing images. Never anything sexual, and your dog is never shown hurt.
Does it use my microphone?
Only if you choose to. Your microphone never leaves your device. Nothing is recorded, kept or sent. Recording your reaction is a separate choice, off unless you say yes before a game.

Both. It plays on a phone with touch controls, and on a computer with a keyboard and mouse or an Xbox, PlayStation or Switch Pro controller.
